Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah presided over the important meeting regarding law and order, the decision to strictly implement the ban on display of weapons.

Karachi (Staff Reporter) A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah, Additional Chief Secretary Interior Iqbal Memon, Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Khalid Haider Shah, IG


Police Ghulam Nabi Memon, Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odhu, representatives of Rangers and other concerned officers participated, while all Divisional Commissioners participated in the meeting through video link. In meeting fake number plates, vehicles


Important issues like unauthorized display of black glasses and weapons were reviewed in detail and important decisions were taken to stop these illegal activities. It was decided in the meeting that on display of fake number plates, unauthorized black glasses and weapons in vehicles


Strict action will be taken. During the meeting, Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah asked the Home Department to formulate a comprehensive strategy to increase public awareness and ensure the implementation of law and order regulations.


Directed. Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah directed the Interior Secretary to conduct a campaign in the media regarding the display of fake number plates, unauthorized black glasses and weapons in vehicles with clear instructions to the public. This


Besides, the Chief Secretary emphasized the need for effective surveillance at the neighborhood level and directed the concerned authorities to improve the communities surveillance. A community watch group under the supervision of stunt commissioners in session to improve these measures


It has been proposed to create, which will also include representatives of all relevant security agencies which will help in identifying suspicious activities and improving communication with law enforcement agencies.
