Karachi (Crime Reporter) IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has said that street crime can be reduced only if the accused are identified, arrested and then punished. Talking to the media after the meeting with Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui, IG Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon said that for the security of foreigners, we are trying our best to train our security units properly and Coordinate deployment. He said that they are trying to make security arrangements based on the sensitivity of the place or personality. In this regard, training and research and development are being done to improve the security of foreigners. IG Sindh said that various committees have been formed for reforms in police rules, which have completed their work. The final draft will be submitted to the Home Department. Today was our last mailing on police reforms which has been postponed. They are sending the draft to Sindh Interior Department after completing it in a day or two. The draft will go to Bene, where it will be discussed. If the government wants, it will be presented in the next meeting. He further said that street crime is a big problem in urban areas of Sindh including Karachi. We have tried hard but there is always room for improvement. Compared to 2013, street crime has decreased. Compared to January this year, street crime has decreased. If someone is injured or killed during street crime, it is quite painful. Street crime can be reduced in this way
