"Provincial Minister's Visit to Central Police Office: Focus on Law and Order, Karachi Safe City Project, and Police Measures"


 Sindh Provincial Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Linjar visited Central Police Office Karachi on Monday. On this occasion, IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja, Additional IG Khadim Hussain Rand and other senior police officers welcomed the provincial minister, while on his arrival, the Chak and Choband squad of the police presented a guard of honour. Sindh Home Minister laid flowers at the martyrs' memorial in CPO, recited Fatiha and prayed for the elevation of police martyrs. On this occasion, IG Sindh Rifat Mukhtar Raja briefed the Provincial Home Minister about the law and order situation in the province and the police measures in this regard. SSPs of all districts of the province also participated in the meeting. Speaking on this occasion, the provincial minister said that the law and order situation in upper Sindh and Karachi is not good. Eradication is inevitable by intensifying effective action against dacoits in Kutch. The slum areas of Kashmore Ghotki, Shikarpur have to be cleared of dacoits. Addressing the officers, he said that any SSP who does not work will be replaced. While the transfer posting of SHOs will be done by the SSPs of all the districts of the province including Karachi and they will also be responsible for their performance. On this occasion, IG Sindh also gave a briefing on the Karachi Safe City Project and said that cameras are being installed at the entry and exit points of Karachi under the Sindh Smart Surveillance System (S4) while in the context of community policing, various roads and Cameras have been installed on highways. IG Sindh also made Sindh Home Minister visit various departments of CPO.
