Forced retired and dismissed officers of the Sindh Police have started consultations to approach the courts. The officers who were dismissed from their jobs belong to various districts of Sindh, including Karachi. The Inspector General of Sindh had indicated from his office that they would be reinstated and all those dismissed from the company would be used for election security. However, it was evident that after showing the path of light, they were pushed into darkness, and then, by indicating the possibility of a storm hitting the company's officers, the IG Sindh withdrew, pulling the ground from under their feet. Nonetheless, the forced retired and dismissed officers have started consultations to knock on the door of the court. According to sources, the IG Sindh had issued orders for 30 inquiries into the allegations of smuggling of Iranian oil and involvement in the supply of non-custom-paid vehicles, stating that the severest action would be taken against officers and personnel involved in organized crime. Those dismissed from their jobs and retired forcibly will benefit from notifications in the services tribunal. Included among the inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors, 10 head constables, and 15 constables are those who have been forcibly retired or dismissed. According to the notification, former SHO Clifton Inspector Imtiaz Ahmed Mir, accused of supervising criminals at Clifton Police Station, was also forcibly retired prematurely. Police constable Mazhar Hayat was also forcibly retired on charges of involvement in the district. The officer associated with District Dadu, Head Constable Sajid, was also forcibly retired. ASI Zulfiqar Odho was also given premature retirement. The list of officers dismissed from service includes Wasim Ahmed Mangnair, Kan Deokhan, Khadim Hussain Burjmani, Abdul Sattar Khaskheli, Bahadar Yar Baladien, Muhammad Sarfraz, Rehmatullah, Chandyo, Aftab Ahmed, Naseer Ahmed, Shah Muhammad Sher, Jang Khan, Khaleeq Dinu, Pehnwar, Tariq Javed, Abdul Hamid, Barohi, Allah Bakhsh, Fahad, Faiz Ali Bhatti, ASI Zaheer, ASI Jaaved Alam Abro, ASI Safdar Ali, ASI Maqbool Ahmed Bhatti, Head Constable Sultan, Head Constable Abdul Jabbar Nangy, Allah Dita, Lashari, Nadeem, and Police Constable Irfan Khan Bhanger. All of them were dismissed from service on charges of involvement in the smuggling of Iranian oil, diesel, and non-custom-paid vehicles. After all these incidents, the forcibly retired police officers have started consultations to seek justice on a large scale and will soon approach the service tribunal through lawyers. It is clear that after the elections, other officers will also be appointed to the posts of IG Sindh and Additional IG Karachi. The stance of the police officers is that even as the senior officers leave, they have left us in distress. They have reached the pinnacle of injustice and barbarism against us.
