Police, including a corrupt officer, have arrested three suspects, including a police official, who lured a citizen from Bagh Korangi. The incident took place near Gulshan-e-Millat, within the jurisdiction of the Awami Colony Police Station, two days ago. Armed criminals abducted a citizen, Abdul Rahman, from a public colony. A resident named Danish Ali alerted the authorities on January 15 upon receiving the information. Upon receiving the alert, SHO Awami Colony, Syed Adnan Bukhari, also reached the scene and pursued the white-colored car mentioned by the informant, thwarting the abduction attempt. According to the police, the car is an Alto with the number 580-AGQ, and three suspects, including the citizen Abdul Rahman, who was abducted, managed to escape. The police rescued the victim and apprehended the kidnappers, transferring them to the police station. Among the arrested kidnappers were Police Constable Muhammed Amir alias Qad, son of Amir Walid Marasim Hassan, Abdul Aziz's son, Wafazal Khan, and Suleman Khan, son of Nematullah. During interrogation, the suspects revealed that the abductor, Amir, is posted in the Investigation Zone (IGZ) Korangi Office, while the other two are his accomplices. According to SHO Awami Colony, Syed Adnan Bukhari, the arrested suspect, Amir, was involved in land grabs and drug trafficking, posing a threat to Bagh Korangi residents and continually seizing properties through his henchmen. Complaints against him have already been received at the concerned police station. The vehicle used in the incident, a 580-AGQ, and an illegal 9mm pistol were also recovered during the operation. SHO Awami Colony, Syed Adnan Bukhari, has registered cases of abduction and attempted murder against the suspects, Amir, Suleman, and Wafazal, initiating legal proceedings against them.
