In the office of the DIG CIA, a newly appointed constable, exceeding his authorities, disregarded the orders and efforts of his superiors by resorting to kicking his superiors' commands and efforts under his boots, establishing his reign within the state, and overstepping his powers, causing distress to citizens and his department. Constable Aamir Razaq, bearing badge number 33899, who was posted to the CR Branch of Medina Colony Police Station in District Keemari after his appointment in the DIG CIA office, is considered a skilled individual. Constable Aamir Razaq used his expertise to amass illicit wealth swiftly and claimed the top position in the list of officials, raising suspicions about the performance and efforts of his superiors.
At the Medina Colony Police Station in District Keemari, Constable Aamir Razaq demanded bribes from citizens visiting the CR branch. In cases of refusal, he fabricated false reports against them, establishing a criminal record. Consequently, citizens paid him thousands in bribes to clear their CR. Meanwhile, cases against the accused from various incidents within the jurisdiction of District Keemari, Medina Colony Police Station, were closed. However, when the accused or their families approached from other stations to get their CR cleared, Constable Aamir Razaq demanded bribes from them as well.
In cases of refusal to pay bribes, Constable Aamir Razaq complicated the CR process, extending the criminal records. According to reliable sources, Constable Aamir Razaq was appointed due to influential recommendations, despite numerous complaints regarding daily compliance. However, no departmental action has been taken against Constable Aamir Razaq despite the complaints, and he has not been suspended. AG Sindh, Additional IG Karachi, DIG South, DIG CIA, and SSP Keemari are strongly urged to take departmental action against such corrupt officials, cleanse the department from black sheep, and those who consider it their right to demean citizens by accepting bribes in exchange for legitimate work.
